For some, finding an engagement ring can be a journey. This was definitely the case for Jack. He came to us all the way from Belfast in search of the perfect engagement ring for his partner. He had exhausted all the options of engagement rings in Northern Ireland. Jack couldn’t quite find the style he knew his partner, Jules, would want. When he came to us he had been shopping for engagement rings in Belfast for a few weeks. He found us online as he realised that his best option was to go for a bespoke-designed ring. As we manufacture all our rings in our Dublin office, he knew we could help him design what he had in his head.
Jack wanted to get Jules a simple style ring that incorporated some antique-inspired elements. He wanted to keep it simple but the engagement ring to still have its own intricacies. In the end, Jack decided on a style that resembled an online image. But he made his own personal tweaks and adjustment to coincide with his vision for this ring. He also decided to get the ring engraved with the location of his meaningful planned proposal site in Belfast, along with the year. The ring was then made in 18k rose gold.
Jack made his second trip from Belfast to see us to collect his bespoke-made piece. To save Jack from making several trips from Northern Ireland to check on progress, we have kept in close contact. This was done over e-mail and phone to update him & make sure he is happy on how it is turning out. He was overjoyed with how the ring turned out. Just a few weeks later, he proposed to Jules in the place they met in Belfast. She loved the ring and says she “wouldn’t change a thing about it!” We couldn’t be happier for the pair.
