Would you like someone to take a photo of your engagement proposal with you knowing about it? While the answer to this question will vary from person to person, we at Bespoke Diamonds are sure that Al Gensitskiy and Katie Verkovod will be delighted when they are surprised with this photo of their special mountaintop engagement. The photo was taken by Paul Wolfe when he was out hiking near Munra Point in Oregon in the United States. At one point along his hike, Paul looked up and spotted a couple on top of a mountain — a man who appeared to be on bended knee, ready to pop the question. He took a photo of the proposal on his phone and posted it on Reddit in an attempt to track down the newly engaged couple. Here’s what Paul posted to Reddit:
“I happened upon this marriage proposal on Thanksgiving 2014. I have no idea who these folks are, but would like them to have this photograph. If you know someone who got engaged on Munra Point in the Columbia River Gorge, the afternoon of 11/27/2014, please direct them to this picture. Thanks!”
Thanks to the power of the Internet, this story has a happy ending. Paul had apparently captured the exact moment that Al Gensitskiy, with an engagement ring in hand, proposed to his girlfriend Katie Verkovod… and she said yes! A comment that Paul posted on Reddit reveals that the best man is going to gift the photo to his friends at their wedding.
